The Great Panchakroshi Parikrama of Kashi

The Panchakroshi Yatra is one of the oldest and most spiritually meritorious pilgrimage circumambulations in Indian philosophy. Mentioned reverently in the Kashi Khanda of the Skanda Purana, this sacred 50-mile (approx. 80 km) pilgrimage encircles the cosmic boundary of Kashi, visiting 108 consecrated Shiva temples, sacred ponds (kunds), and shrines along the perimeter.

The Traditional 5 Daily Night Halts (Padavs)
