Kanak Bhawan: The Golden Palace of Sita & Rama

Kanak Bhawan, meaning the "Palace of Gold", was originally gifted to Devi Sita by Queen Kaikeyi upon her wedding with Shri Ram. Renovated magnificently by the royal family of Orchha in 1891, the temple features stunning Bundelkhandi architecture, silver thrones, and divine idols of Sita-Ram adorned in resplendent royal garments.
