Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir: The Grand Monument of Faith

The newly consecrated Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya stands as an architectural marvel built in the grand Nagara style. Carved from pink Bansi Paharpur stone and towering over 161 feet, the temple sanctum houses the divine idol of Balak Ram, radiating innocence, majesty, and divine grace.

Darshan Timings & Aarti Schedule

The temple is open to devotees from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM daily, with a brief afternoon curtain closure (Bhog/Pardah) between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM:

  • Mangala Aarti (6:30 AM): Pre-booked pass holders only.
  • Shringaar Aarti (12:00 PM): Midday ornamentation and bhog offering.
  • Sandhya Aarti (7:30 PM): Evening aarti with Vedic hymns.

Security & Locker Procedures

Security protocols at Ram Janmabhoomi are extremely tight. Devotees must pass through multiple screening checkpoints. Mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, pens, and metal objects are strictly barred inside the inner complex. The trust operates extensive computerized luggage and locker counters at the Pilgrim Facilitation Centre (PFC) near Sugriva Qila.
